Pave HER Way ("PHW," "we," "us," or "our") is a California nonprofit organization committed to funding, mentoring, and connecting women who are building a more just world. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
What We Collect
Personal Data
When you submit a form on our website — whether to join our mailing list or RSVP to an event — we may collect the following information you provide directly: first and last name, email address, phone number (where requested), and your areas of interest such as applying for funding, mentoring, volunteering, or donating.
Automatically Collected Data
We collect approximate location data derived from your IP address, including city, state, zip code, and country. This is an estimate only — we do not collect your exact address or GPS coordinates. This helps us understand the geographic reach of our community.
Event RSVP Data
When you RSVP to an event, we also collect attendee details including guest names, contact information, and age confirmation. All attendees in a group are linked by a shared Group ID for organizational purposes.
How We Use Your Information
  • To communicate with you about Pave HER Way programs, events, and updates.
  • To understand who is interested in our mission and where our community is located geographically.
  • To plan future events and programs based on geographic and interest data. We do not sell your personal information or share it with third parties for advertising purposes.
Data Storage and Disclosure
Your information is stored securely in Airtable, a cloud-based database platform. We use Cloudflare Workers as a secure intermediary to process form submissions, ensuring your data is never exposed in our website's front-end code.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Third-party services we use include Webflow (website hosting), Cloudflare (security and form processing), Airtable (data storage), Google reCAPTCHA (spam prevention), and ipapi.co (approximate geolocation). Each operates under its own privacy policy.
Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. If you would like us to delete your information, contact us at admin@paveherway.org and we will respond within 45 days.

Security of Your Information
We use Cloudflare Workers to process all form submissions as a secure server-side intermediary, ensuring your data is never exposed in our website's source code. Your data is stored in Airtable with access restricted to authorized Pave HER Way personnel only.
Your Rights
If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, request deletion of your personal information, and opt out of the sale of your personal information — which we do not do. If you are located in the EU or UK, you may have additional rights under GDPR including the right to access, correct, or erase your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at admin@paveherway.org. We will respond within 45 days.
