HubSpot Newsletter “Video Cover Tiles”
How to update the full-width and half-width video tiles in the PHW newsletter template by using the PHW Canva templates.
Steps (quick):
- Open HubSpot → navigate to the PHW newsletter template.
- Identify which tile you’re updating:
- Large video tile (full width)
- Small video tile (50% width)
- Open Canva → search for the PHW “video tile” templates and choose the matching size (large vs. small).
(Each size has its own gray overlay + play icon placement/scale.)
- Replace the screenshot/photo inside the Canva template (drop it into the frame / background).
- Export from Canva (download) using the standard image export you’ve been using for the newsletter (so it stays crisp in-email).
- Back in HubSpot, click the image block for the video tile → Replace/Upload image → upload the exported file.
- QA: preview the email on desktop + mobile to confirm the play icon looks centered and the overlay is visible.
